We Believe:

• The Bible is the infallible Word of God, holy and inspired, and the supreme and final authority.

• In one God eternally existing in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our Mediator and Advocate.

• That all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God, and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the shed blood on the cross.

• The justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen  from the dead.

• The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit.

• The priesthood of all believers, who form the universal church, the body of which Christ is the head and which is committed by His commands to the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world.

• The expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.

Nicene Creed

Rev Edward C. Holtz was born in Shortsville, New York.  He and his wife Dottie, are celebrating over 40 years of marriage. As lifetime residents of the Finger Lakes region, Ed and Dottie also are celebrating 33 years of ministry. Since being baptized in the Holy Spirit on the same evening in July 1971, they have served the Body of Christ by assisting in planting three churches in Ontario and Wayne Counties.

Pastor Ed has previously served Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes as an Outreach Coordinator for 14 years.  During that time, he served Wayne, Seneca, Ontario and Yates Counties advocating for our neighbors in need.

In response to a prophetic call that Newark, NY would become “an epicenter for a revival”, Pastor Ed founded Army of God Ministries in 2003.  Pastor Ed is called to help the church come together in unity to reach the lost in Wayne County.
